Veg Momo's

Low Calorie, Low Carb Momo's!

A great way to add more veggies and fibre to your & your kid's diet!

Serves: 1

Serving Size: 4 momo's


  • 4 cabbage leaves

  • ½ cup spring onion (finely chopped)

  • ¼th cup carrot (finely chopped)

  • ½ cup capsicum (finely chopped)

  • 1 garlic pod (finely chopped)

  • 1 green chilly (finely chopped)

  • ½ tsp black pepper powder

  • Salt as per taste

  • 1 tsp butter


  • Add 2 glasses of water in a vessel and bring it to a boil. Add 1 tsp of salt and cabbage leaves. Allow it to cook for 5-7 mins or till it turns soft.

  • Strain the leaves and keep them aside.

  • In a pan heat the butter, add green chilies, garlic, spring onion, carrot, capsicum, salt & black pepper powder & saute it on low flame for 3-5mins.

  • Now take the leaves, cut the lower hard edge of the leaves & discard them.

  • Add 1 spoonful of the mixture on the cabbage leaves and roll it up.

  • Repeat steps 4 & 5 to make the remaining 3 momos.

  • Now steam them for 5mins.

  • Serve hot with chutney.
