Savoury Oats Crepe

Serves: 2

Serving size: 2 crepes


  • 1 cup oats flour

  • 2 tbsp semolina

  • 2 chillies finely chopped

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper

  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped tomato

  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves

  • 1 1/4 cup water

  • 2 tsp oil

  • Salt as per taste


  • Roast the oats & then grind it into a powder/ flour form.

  • In 1 cup of oats flour add semolina and mix well.

  • Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and mix well.

  • Add water to make a batter.

  • Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.

  • Set the bowl aside for 15 minutes.

  • Heat a pan over medium high heat. Pour ladle full of the batter and spread it to make a round shape crepe.

  • Drizzle some oil around it and allow it to cook till it begins to leave the sides of the pan.

  • Now flip and cook on the other side.

  • Serve hot with green chutney!
